The Amchi Kingdom Journey- from Individuals to Community
It’s been 2 whole art-filled years since we started a journey which was initially purely for ourselves and today we are at a point where we are seeking more clarity with our pathways. So right now, we would like to take just a moment to cherish the past that has led us to where we have reached thus far.
We met as individual artists who were in dire need of support to keep growing, and today it’s an honor to represent ourselves as a brand.
Has it always been a good journey? Nope.
Have we achieved everything we had hoped for? Not even close.
Does that mean we stop? No, in fact, we hustle harder.
This journey made us feel a lot like Thomas Edison, and we are also still in the process of figuring out our ‘nth’ way of doing things until we get our eureka moment.
2 years ago, we did not foresee the struggles we have encountered- slow growth, subpar equipment, and well- the notorious pandemic that has been keeping us apart for almost 2 years now. It drastically impacted the ideas we wanted to do and somehow hindered us to think of endless possibilities. Little did we know that there were some silver linings to the situation we ended up in.
1. Focus & Dedication: Being stuck at home in the initial months of the pandemic gave us time to dedicate and focus our energies into building our brand. Although the brand we have envisioned back then is not exactly the kind of brand we now strive to become, we believe that it was that time of getting the ball rolling is what has made us establish our brand that at least 300 people (on Instagram) know about.
2. Endless Possibilities: Jumping a little bit ahead to June 2021’s Fete de la Musique, as the pandemic continued to keep us relatively just at home, an opportunity of organizing a virtual event was the obvious next step. In fact, because it was virtual, it gave us the opportunity to reach out to artists across various geographic locations. And what could have been better than getting these artists’ talents showcased on a global scale? (Definitely, this was not an event we initially thought would reach to such lengths.)
3. Building a Community: Because of everything we have experienced, it has helped us relate to a lot of indie artists who are on the same journey we are on. This common understanding has then led us to create the Amchi Kingdom Community in which we strive to gather all passionate growing artists and provide insights and resources that would help each and every artist grow.
Encountering and conversing with these artists had really helped expand the Amchi Kingdom horizon as these have provided us a lot of insights that the both of us couldn’t have figured out on our own.
Most importantly, we give our gratitude to the whole #AmchiKingdomCommunity who has been here for us since the start. To Friends and Family who have given their support during those late night shoots, to being the cameramen for us, and especially pushing us to keep on keeping on. To Ms. Radhika Rathi who has given us the platform to showcase our brand to the SP Jain Community. To Ms. Megna Kalvani who never doubted our capabilities and even provided opportunities for us to continue improving and building our brand.
Amchi Kingdom embarks a journey today that focuses on providing value alongside entertainment. Hence the introduction of our newest #AmchiProject- Amchi Insights. Hopefully in the months to come by we get to share more of our vision and see it reach its peak.
