Getting Back Into The Flow of Creating

One of the struggles we creators face is being able to execute our ideas as fast as we generate them in our heads! As our minds are constantly looking around for inspiration, be it a song played on the radio or street lights flickering, a lot of ideas pile up in our head unexecuted. And unfortunately an unexecuted idea, however creative, is just an idea with no measurable impact if there’s no output. That’s what differentiates us as creators from being mere thinkers.

Along with finding the motivation to bring life to our ideas, we also struggle with self-doubt. Is this piece of content really that great? Am I portraying the best version of me? Is it even worthy of getting posted? Because if not, then it would most likely be ignored by others which will result in no views, no subscribers or whatsoever. Yes, it is so easy to spiral on your own thoughts, that’s why sometimes there’s just this wishful thinking of being able to freely create without being bound by such negativity. I suppose the only way to overcome this fear of creating work that people may not like, is to create so many of them until something great comes out of it. So until I reach that phase, I will celebrate the efforts behind every work- liked by others or not. Soon enough these ideas won’t only be liked by others but hopefully help inspire lives as well.
