Amchi №23: Anime- It’s Not Just An Animation

What most non-anime people might not understand is that anime is not just “an animation”. To us appreciators of it, we have our own reasons for consuming various series. A common factor in shounen shows is the element of having a group of friends who the characters would have in support usually once massive and main action scenes take place. (Shounen is a kind of genre aimed primarily at a young male audience, typically characterized by action-filled plots).

Especially at a time like this where lockdowns are occurring, it has been truly helpful to have shows that make you feel emotionally connected to and feel that you also have a group of people whom you can spend time with. So, I hope you enjoy my rendition of Tokyo Revenger’s 1st Season Op, “Cry Baby”, filled with emotions and joy.
